Nocturnal Conversations II: Phosphene no Megacine. Phosphene is the second installment in a series of films titled Nocturnal Conversations. The film was made in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, during the third week of quarantine. I felt far from my family and home, longing to feel small again, listening to my parents talking to the friends they had over for dinner through my bedroom wall. Lying down in darkness, eyelids heavy — flickering lights and colors drifting me into deep sleep.
